In a survey performed by Quark, Inc., QuarkXPress users provided the following feedback to the question: Which XTensions add-on features are most useful for your work in QuarkXPress? "I can't give enough praise to the developers of Enhance Preview XT. There are some very fine lines and photos within frames in my layouts - without this XTension I would have had a hundred problems with proofs." "I have found the following very useful: Enhance Preview XT, Cool Blends, Export to PDF document translators, and Calendar XT." "There are certain XTensions that I really would hate to live without, such as ShadowCaster, Table 2000, and Enhance Preview XT. I use a variety of others from time to time, and consider Quark's expandability via XTensions to be one of its greatest strengths." "The two best XTensions I have used are Font Collector and Enhance Preview XT. Font Collector saves time and aggravation. EPXT is great for fine work with pics. It shows you exactly where the photo positioning is." "Enhance Preview XT is terrific. High res previews are vital to checking the overall file. I really like the Enhance Preview extension for viewing photos in Quark." "XTensions can be a valuable tool to a graphic designer (i.e. ShadowCaster and Enhance Preview XT). EPXT has been a must in day to day design with page layout." "Enhance Preview XT and Jabberwocky I use all the time." "Enhance Preview and Super Step and Repeat are the XTensions I use daily. Having the ability to get a clearer view of a picture really helps during the design process." "The only one I have used is the Enhance Preview XT from Koyosha, which has saved my butt a time or two." "Enhance Preview XT should be how Quark normally works." "I love: INposition, Lower Case Upper Case XTension, Enhance Preview XT, QX-Tools, and QX-Effects. Long live XPress!" |
